Spare Parts are a burden for Operators
⦿ MRO are looking for new savings
⦿ Price list from OEM is always increasing without any way for MRO to impact its customers > less and less margin
⦿ Supply Chain performance is directly linked with OEM capabilities to deliver with only few exceptions and very
costly as well (i.e Data License Agreement)
⦿ We are able to manufacture mass-produced parts (cost optimisation) and deliver them on demand in serialised
mode, which lowers unit costs and reduces repair cycles for MROs.
⦿ Manufacturing Parts under 145.A.42 allowance is
o more and more controlled
o only for single part fabrication during the course of the maintenance à very costly, no storage
o limited to simple parts

Spare Parts are not longer available
⦿ The fleet of aircraft currently in service continues to age
⦿ Deliveries by manufacturers are not keeping up with promises, and order books are full
(today, to get a delivery slot for an AIRBUS A320, you have to wait more than 10 years).
⦿ At the same time, certain parts and equipment are becoming obsolete.
⦿ Faced with this situation, Improve Aero Technologies is also proposing to certify parts that are equivalent to obsolete parts, so that airlines can keep their aircraft flying.

Spare Parts are not always available
⦿ OEMs favour costly standard exchanges as part of an internal profitability drive
⦿ Some ‘repairable’ equipment is in fact not repairable, because the right parts are not available in the catalogue
⦿ However, by analysing the product's function, it is possible to create a repair ‘solution’ and propose it to the major
maintenance players for application.
⦿ Thanks to our DOA & POA certifications, we are able to define this solution, have it approved by the authority and
then manufacture the basic parts to repair the equipment.
